Aside from her attendance at the 2024 Tokyo International Film Festival, Janine Gutierrez seemed to have had another highlight from her recent Japan trip — her moments with her companion, actor Jericho Rosales.

The actress gave a glimpse of their trip through a vlog on her YouTube channel on Sunday, Dec. 1. Rosales made the vlog introduction by showing the two of them walking along the street.

“I came here with her for the Tokyo International Film Festival and for the food,” the actor said.

“I’m here because I wanna let everyone know how amazing you are at finding great restaurants,” he added, addressing the actress. “I’m guesting on her channel just because, just for fun.”

The actor was seen taking videos of the actress’ preparations and moments at the film festival, where Gutierrez’s film “Phantosmia” premiered.

After the event, the pair bonded over meals and desserts in different restaurants, then went on a trip to Mt. Fuji.

At the latter part of the vlog, Rosales points the camera at Gutierrez and says, “Guys, she’s the best travel partner because she knows where the best places to eat are. Almost magical.”

Jericho and Gutierrez first sparked dating rumors after their museum date in July. Rosales confirmed their dating status weeks later, saying they were in the getting-to-know stage.

Rosales also appears to get along pretty well with the actress’ family, whom he met during her brother Diego’s single launch in July.

The actor was present too at the intimate birthday party of Gutierrez’s grandmother, veteran actress-singer Pilita Corrales, last August.
